11 v 11 Co-ed Rules

LEAGUE
1. Games will consist of two equal halves of 30 minutes including a water break in each halt with a 5-minute intermission if players request it., Playing time will be reduced for late Kick-offs as needed.
2. Games postponed due to rain will be made up at the end of the season. Excessive rain-outs may cause the cancellation of some games
3. Decisions to postpone/cancel games are at the sole discretion of the League Directors or his designated appointees
4. All teams will be required to select a team captain and an alternate. These individuals will be responsible to enforce the compliance of all League rules, submit rosters, pay league fees, etc.


ROSTER
1.For 11 v 11 maximum team roster allowed is 16 Players

2.Teams must have at least one Woman player on the field at all time,or the team will play with only 10 players. 

3. Teams may add/drop players, during Regular Season games Only,

4. Team Roster will remain frozen for Playoff/Championship games.

5. Any changes to add/drop players must be notified in writing to NewAPSL by Friday 6pm before Sunday's game by Captain/Co-Captain, changes are subject to League Directors approval
6. A player dropped from a Team Roster cannot be added back to the same Team Roster.
7. A player dropped from a Team Roster can be added to a different Team Roster.
8. A $10 admin. Fee per player will apply when adding/dropping players, League Registration Fees will also apply as needed
9. NO player is permitted to play unless listed on the team roster and having signed the League Waiver & Release of Liability. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of all games involving the offending player(s)
10. 7 players is the minimum needed to avoid forfeit
11. NEWAPSL reserves the rights to add or move players to any team as needed
12. Players MUST wear own t-shirt uniform or one supplied by the League at registration, if not, the Player maybe be allowed to play with another shirt subject to League Directors approval, uniforms must have a n6umber on the front or back
 GAME
All FIFA Laws of the Game apply, with the exception of:
1. Field size is reduced from to approx. 110X80 yards with goal size to 24 X 8 feet
2. No Slide tackling will be permitted, Direct free kick will be the result
3. Substitutions are unlimited and must be done during a stoppage in play , Referee must be informed of a goalkeeper change.
4. No off-side rule applies

5.Players receiving a YELLOW Card caution will have to leave the field for 3 minutes as a 'cooling-off' period. The Referee will keep the time and will beckoned the player back onto the field after the 3 minutes has been served

6. Players receiving a RED Card or two YELLOW Cards in the same game will not be replaced by another player. The Player will be suspended for a minimum of one game or in severe situations (violent conduct) the Player may be removed from the roster for the remainder of the season, such situations will be decided at the sole discretion of the League Directo8.
7. The use of foul, abusive, religious, racial language or gestures is strongly forbidden. Referees have been instructed to sanction any such incident with a Yellow card and indirect free kick against a player committing the offense. A Red Card send-off may apply for severe cases
8 will be suspended for one game after accumulating 3 yellow cards in the season.
9. Shin guards are NOT mandatory BUT strongly recommended.

10. Goals scored by a woman counts for 2 goals. 

RANKING CRITERIA
Regular Season games, there shall be no overtime periods. Standings in a group will be determined by:
* WIN = 3 points
* TIE = 1 point
* LOSS = 0 points
* FORFEIT WIN = 3 points (shall be recorded at 3-0 score)
DURING PLAYOFFS/CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
A game tied after regulation will go straight to Kicks from the Mark (penalty kicks). Penalty Kicks will be performed as per FIFA KICKS FROM THE MARK .
If the score is still tied during kicks from the mark ,and the game has to be abandoned for any reason; the result will be determined by a coin toss by both Captains.
FORFEITS
A game will be ruled a forfeit if any of the following apply:
1. A team fails to field the required number of players by 15 minutes after game time
2. Continued harassment of officials, players, managers, NEWAPSL officials or spectators
3. In the opinion of the official, Team Captain does not control his/her team
GUEST PLAYERS
1. Already on another team roster player will only be permitted to play if the Team has 10 or less players, and subject to League Directors approval

2. All guest players not playing on another Roster may be allowed subject to a game fee of $10 and subject to League Directors approval
